Ocean Grove Home School Sewing Lessons

I am excited to be an approved vendor for Ocean Grove School offering Sewing Lessons for students. The suggested age of student is 8+ pending their concentration levels. Your student is expected to use machines and sharp tools in a safe way and be able to follow directions.
Sewing lessons will educate each student on basic sewing machine skills while experimenting with materials and making projects that are individually suited to student’s interest. Students are encouraged to sign up for multiple sessions in order to have time to complete a multi-step project: reading sewing patterns, cutting patterns & fabrics, sewing all aspects of project and adding finishing details.
Sewing machines can be provided for use, if you own your own sewing machine, students are encouraged to use to gain familiarity on machine that will be more accessible to them.
